About

Welcome to Fireballs & Tsunami, named as such because I originally wanted a website with fabulous graphics of raging fire and water. Hindered by my artistic ineptitude, I instead opted for the name.

I was born three days after Ronald Reagan was elected president and raised near Philadelphia. In August of 1999, I moved to NYC to study film at NYU; in 2003, I graduated with a BFA in Cinema Studies and a minor in American History. Since graduating, I have worked steadily in documentary film and reality television. In January 2007, I created Hot Rocks, a retro dance party on the Lower East Side. My resumé lives here.

After two years of living in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, I relocated to the wonderful neighborhood of Hells Kitchen in 2004. I love trivia, photography, Reaganite entertainment, coffee, travel, and muscle cars. When I was younger, I engaged in regular correspondence with over two-hundred pen pals from across the world. If you are a former pen pal of mine and happen to read this, please email me!

I currently take photos with a Canon PowerShot SD 550 Digital Elph. Please do not borrow my words/photos without permission. Lastly, many thanks to J.L. McVay for his support in building this website.

Thank you much for visiting. Feel free to email me to say hello. Rock n’ roll!
