I recall having absolutely no interest in “Entourage” when it debuted in 2004. Over time, however, friends whose film/TV opinions I respect have recommended the show, so last month I Netflixed Season I. While I found the first season’s writing to be disappointingly uneven, the storylines redundant, and the characters shallow, I’m a completist, so I Netflixed Season II, which I finished last night.

I’m happy to report I found the second season far richer than the first, and the writing provided occasional surprisingly touching moments between the characters. I’ve also had somewhat of a crush on Jeremy Piven since his Say Anything / The Grifters days, so I enjoyed all of his “Entourage” screen time, including this little gem in which he totally pwns a traitor:
