For sure. I think Alanis needed to research the actual definition of irony. Hopefully she has learned by now. As her song goes, you live, you, eh, learn. P.S. Remember when Kurt Loder told Jewel that “casualty” is NOT the noun form of the adjective “casual?” That was awesome.
DJ, you’re right; it does sound very Tori Amos-esque! I’m not much of a fan, either.
As for Alanis, however, I must say, at the tender age of fifteen, I really did enjoy Jagged Little Pill. Listening to the album now, there are only three or so tracks I still enjoy, but I give her props for releasing such a successful album at such a young age. What’s weird is I saw her in concert in Philadelphia in 1995; Radiohead opened, and the audience was practically booing Radiohead off the stage so Alanis could start. Radiohead showed them!

You know what’s NOT ironic, rain on your wedding. It sucks, but it’s not ironic.

It sounds a lot more like Tori Amos than Alanis Morrissette… I can’t stand either of them. Ironic?
