I believe the situation with your friend was the fact that the guy wasn't all that interested in her to begin with. Just because you think she's a fantastically flawless person, does not mean everyone agrees with you. In addition, many people act differently when around the opposite sex. She could have acted unappealing during their date, how do you know how she acted and how she was perceived? Subsequent correspondence perhaps persuaded him to contact her again, but you didn't tell us what happened. Did they go out on a second date? He could have responded because he was contacted numerous times and felt that he was forced to email her back (just a theory). The topic in itself is interesting but I believe the argument has little merit and your overall analysis of your theory displays a large array of speculation. Since we were just friends for the first few years of knowing each other when I wanted to start dating her instead of just hanging out with her, I told her I was carrying a sign. I have no idea why people want to play games, but I guess that's "fun" for some people. wild.
