Chrome Wheeled, Fuel Injected & Steppin’ Out Over the Line
If you’ve spent more than two minutes with me lately, you’ve probably realized that I’m now officially a “Lost” nerd. I’d say about 70% of the words out of my mouth of late have focused on electromagnetivity, dharma, Lugers, and army knives. I’ve not only bought every episode of Season Two on iTunes, I’ve joined the Lost Forum fansite and have been posting away. You can find my posts by searching for “Jenny has no life.”
Not really.
Since I’m a big fan of doing fun things set to popular music, I really enjoyed this three-minute time lapse video of a road trip from Los Angeles to New York. It’s got me jonesing for a cross-country journey! Link via Gothamist.
For everyone who loves or hates SNL’s “Lazy Sunday” rap skit, which has taken the Internet world by storm, check out this West Coast spoof entitled “Lazy Monday.” I actually know someone who knows someone who knows one of the guys in the spoof. THAT’S SO L.A. Double true.
Comic writer/TV star extraordinaire, and my hero, Larry David, expresses his thoughts on Brokeback Mountain.
In other news, I saw The New World tonight and enjoyed it very much. I also saw Transamerica recently, which I highly recommend. I organized my photos on Flickr. I’m still experimenting with this whole eating healthy thing. Broccoli + garlic = crazy delicious. I have been listening to a lot of Bruce Springsteen. Someone pointed out to me that the excellent band Pavement recorded an excellent cover of “The Killing Moon” by one of my favorite bands, Echo and the Bunnymen. I hit the 10,000 mark on my iTunes stats, which is very exciting.
I have no life.
