MTV’s “True Life” Wants to Hear Your Story!

June 25th, 2009

Hello dear readers! I am now working for MTV’s award-winning documentary series “True Life.” We are currently casting for two upcoming episodes:

1) “I’m Having Major Surgery.” We are seeking 16-30 year old patients in need of any sort of non-elective surgery: for example, sports-related injuries, reconstructive surgery, tumor resection, amputations, transplants, back surgery, gynecological surgery, etc.

2) “I’m Looking for My Child.” We are seeking a 16-30 year old parent of a child with whom he/she has lost contact: for example, a member of the armed forces being deployed and desperate to reunite with his or her child before leaving, a parent desperately attempting to reconnect with a child placed in adoption, a parent trying to locate an abducted child, a father estranged from the baby’s mother, etc.

If anyone you know might be interested in sharing their story, please ask them to email me with their name, age, location, a description of their story, and a photo of themselves at casting(at)crosstown.tv.

Thank you so much!

P.S. Please feel free to forward/repost!
